1. If you could name a dish after yourself, what would it be and why?
Not really after myself but I once created a dish that could only best be described as a mash up of a ragu and biryani which I named BIRAGU 😅 on my second cookbook Joyful.

A touch of sweetness
3. What was your first reaction when Java asked you to be Guest Chef?
Pure excitement! I’d been wanting to do this forever
4. If your cooking style were a Java drink, which one would it be?
Definitely an Ice tea passion (sweet but tangy and extremely refreshing)

All the support!!!! So many people came out and tried the menu and I’m beyond myself how much love I’ve received this month.
6. Which dish from your Java menu would you serve to impress a first date?
The sticky fried chicken burger would win his heart instantly 😉

8. Team dine-in or delivery, how should fans best enjoy meals?
DINE IN! There’s just something about eating the food fresh from the kitchen without it sweating in the packaging.
9. What’s the most surprising feedback you’ve received about your Java specials?
A good number of people saying how much they loved the burger yet they don’t eat or like burgers! That was it for me!
10. If you had to create a Father’s Day meal inspired by your own dad, what would be on the plate?
A nice mixed grill platter of meat. Meat is definitely a love language for all African dads 😅
11. What was the most challenging but fulfilling part of the whole process?
The most challenging was definitely the first few days of cooking and having the team and CEO decide what they liked and all the feedback that i got on what needed improvement. It was extremely rewarding seeing how it all worked out in the end.
