Use medium or fine ground coffee
- Unscrew the top part of the pot and remove the filter funnel.
- Fill the base with fresh cold water to just below the safety valve.
- Fill the funnel filter with medium/fine ground coffee. N.B: Do not press the coffee down in the filter funnel, as this will block the filter.
- Screw the top back on tightly to avoid steam escaping during the brewing process.
- Place the pot over a burner, ensuring the flame does not overlap on the sides of the pot.
- You will know the coffee is percolating when the pot makes a gurgling sound and steam can be seen through the pouring spout.
- Turn off the burner.
- Pour the coffee.
- Add milk / sugar to taste and serve. Enjoy!
