Paul is the Chief Executive Officer at Java House Group. He has been working with the group since September 2017 and Group CEO from February 2018. His principle role is the development and implementation of the Group’s growth and development strategies.
Paul holds over 37 years’ experience in strategic business development, multi-site operations, Retail, Food and Beverage Operations, Joint Ventures, Franchising and Talent Leadership. He has worked and lived overseas, out of the UK for the past 18 years, and successfully led the establishment of businesses in 20 countries across the MENA region, India, Russia, China, S.E. Asia and Africa.
Paul holds an MSc in Change Management, a BSc (Hons) in Food Marketing, and Diploma’s in Marketing, Change Management and Executive Coaching. He is also certified by the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He also attended the Breakthrough Program for Senior Executives at I.M.D. Lausanne, Switzerland. Paul lives in Nairobi with his partner Amelia.
Priscilla is the Group’s Commercial Director. She oversees manufacturing, repair and maintenance, HR functions and new business development for the company.
Naima is currently the Group’s Head of Operations. She joined the group in 2010 and is in charge of general operations of all restaurants under the Java House Group and overall guest experience.
Allan is currently the Chief Finance Officer at Java House Group. He joined the organization in May 2019 and is in charge of managing the Group’s finances through financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping and financial reporting.
Sam is currently the Java Group Head of Property. Since he joined the Group in 2015, he’s been in charge of the brand expansion, site selection and construction in the East African region.
Phylis heads the Audit and Risk Management function for the group. With 12 years in the field, she has worked with KPMG Kenya as an External Auditor to various clients in the Consumer and Financial Services markets.
Maureen is currently the Head of Legal at the Java Group. She joined the group in December 2013 and is in charge of providing legal advice to the board. She oversees legal matters not limited to property and conveyancing, general corporate and commercial affairs.
